Oh, where to start...

I guess I'll start at the very beginning, a very good place to start!

This year has been filled with unforgettable moments, each full with God's kindness.

I'm truly grateful for each of these moments, whether they were difficult, fun, oh-so-annoying or hilariously awkward.After all, it's the difficult times that make the sweet times so much sweeter.

This year started with a skip,jump and a leap - of faith.

Coming to the conclusion, with much prayer and many questions, that I should go to Cosmetology school, I started this past January. Everyday since then, God has literally poured his grace and mercy on me. He overflowed my cup with peace and gladness to be in a completely different kind of atmosphere where I was to be pushed out of my comfort zone, for His glory, every.single.day.(i'm sorry but i don't have a picture for this one:))

Fast forwarding a few months-

I had a front row seat(quite literally) to watch my sister agree to become Mrs. Seredich.

What a joy it was for me and my family to watch her thoroughly enjoy this sweet and fun time that she was blessed with. What a blessing it was for all of us to recount God's faithfulness in each of our own lives as well and how far He has brought us.

NEXT '10 was.a.blast.

This conference was chalked full of amazing teachings from awesome pastors, grace filled community groups and a deeper knowledge of who God is. You will,guaranteed, walk away from this conference being more in awe of and on fire- for God.

Family vacations are the best.

No joke.

This vacation to the OBX was no different let me tell you.

Good times were had by all. From lazy beach days, to lazy pool days, to table flying, to stair surfing, to neighbor watching,to eat-all-you-want-days(which was pretty much everyday), to read 5 books in a day, to stargazing, to driving ON the beach, to golf cart driving, to breaking the golf cart with no one in the cart having shoes on to walk the few miles back, to watching Kung fu Panda a million times...yep, we pretty much did it all.

A couple months later-

and guess what happened! My sister got married!A shocker I know. That typically happens once you're engaged. This was the funnest wedding I've ever been to, I'm probably a little biased but just go with me here...

Our family, the day before the wedding got to take a very relaxing boat ride from Herrington Harbor. It was our last outing as the four unmarried sisters:) Let's keep it going girls!:D

The wedding day was filled with smiles, laughter, tears and more laughter. Truly an unforgettable moment.

Obviously, there were many other things going on in between these events but these few were ones that stuck out in my heart.

I will never forget this year. I can't wait to see what else God has in store....besides my new niece coming in a couple weeks!

And the photos below are from a concert that I was able to go to a couple weeks ago.

A couple weekends ago I had the privilege of second shooting a wedding for Kristen:D I was so surprised to get that Facebook message asking if I was available to shoot. Boy, was I excited and nervous! I couldn't believe I was finally going to have the opportunity to learn from one of my favorite photographers ever.

So, getting on with the wedding day- The bride and the groom were complete babes. I adored them. Part of the reason I loved them was that they opted for a "First Look." This is every photographers dream- To have hours before the wedding to have fun and take very relaxed photos.

The first time Mike and Merissa saw each other on their wedding day was precious.

The entire day was filled with laughter, quiet loving looks, and some tears.

It was beautiful.

Alright.

I had a request a couple posts back from someone(Kristen) that they wanted to hear stories.

Well, I've got one.

As I was headed to school one morning, I got off the metro as usual and started the two block walk to my school. For those of you who know me well, would know that when it's early and I'm tired and there are a trillion of other people walking all around me, I put on my "I'm tired and I don't want to talk" face.

I continue on in my grouchy state,avoiding any awkward eye contact with a random stranger.

I come to the crosswalk.

Awesome.

It's the red hand.

As the line of what seemed to be a billion cars had stopped for the light, my best friend(the white hand) started flashing at me to go.

So, there I go!

I dart of like I'm a nascar driver.

As I'm winning the race and darting in and out of all the people, I notice this elderly woman on a rascal on the other side of the crosswalk.

Then I notice that she's not moving.

Weird.

As I near the end of the crosswalk,just about 10 feet from the woman, I notice she gets herself going.

Oh good.

I don't have to feel like I should help her.

I went back to studying the ground and when I was about 3 feet in front of her, she speeds(well, speedy for a rascal;)) right at me!

I felt like a deer in the head lights.

It was the most bizarre and hilarious thing.

As I jumped out of her way and apologized, she muttered "well, hurry up and get out of the way."

I keep walking and bust out laughing.

As I continued to laugh, the light bulb went off.

Oh, the Lord surely does have a sense of humor!

I could hear the gentle voice saying"oh Megan, stop focusing on yourself. Lift that head up and look at me."

What an excellent way to start my day! Don't you think? ;)

I've recently been thinking about how I can better my business.

I have that feeling that it's about to crack and a crash of amazing ideas will come falling out in regards to improving my business.

As some of you know, I have just recently started cosmetology school.

We have started to learn about the actual styling of hair(as opposed to learning about bacteria in the workplace. Fun stuff, I know) and how to start being creative with hair.

Well, since today is Valentines Day, I had the privilege of experimentally styling my sister Lauren's hair for her date night with the boyfriend.

I had tried this a couple times on a mannequin head but trust me, styling a mannequins head is SO much different than styling a human head. Let's just say it's a WHOLE lot easier to style a persons head. . .

So I gave it a try and had a lot of fun trying it out!

So, here we are....snowed in....

We have been for 5 days now.

5 Days.

Yep, that's a long time for us Marylanders.

And guess what!

We are going to get another one to two more feet of snow.

Oooooooon the upside, I have been loving being able to really spend time with my family.

Because of school, the past few weeks has kind of looked something like. . . "hey, how are you??How was your day?Good, Good. Alrighty, I have to head to bed."

These past few days have been extremely nice to just BE - to just BE with my family.

(I have to say that I'm also loving being off of school:))

So, what have we been doing to keep busy??

Hmmm, watching movies, shoveling, puzzles,

eating, watching movies, staring at the walls,

puzzles, homework(well, some of us), working out, cleaning,

laundry, some more fun in the snow AND more PUZZLES!

What would a post about a blizzard be without a few pictures. . . . . :)

Life has drastically picked up in the last couple of weeks! I have started cosmetology school at Graham Webb Academy in D.C. on the 19th and it's been a whirlwind since then! I cannot believe that Christmas is TOMORROW!

It's amazing how quickly this year has gone by!

Well, in light of the holiday season, I wanted to do SOMETHING thing fun like hold give away shoot or have some sort of discount. . .

Something that I've been thinking about lately is what to blog about when your not busy blogging and editing your clients photos. Especially during those "off " months when you can't go outside, unless you want to freeze your butt off(like today, when there is at least a foot and a half of snow on the ground!:))

Why not use my blog to encourage someone?

I know some of you don't personally know these girls and I am sorry but these are a few of my favorite people ever:)

They have no idea I'm going to do this and they'll probably kill me but I don't really care. . .

My sisters are some of the most Christ-centered and joyful people you will ever meet.

You will sense and know the love they have for you and the Lord from the first moment you talk to them. They are true servants of God as they seek to run and follow hard after Christ.

Daily, they pursue laying down their lives for Christ.

To serve Him.

. . . Because they love Him. . .

. . . Because He first loved them.

Kristen, Amy and Lauren - Thank you for the way you live out your lives for our Father.

Thank you for selflessly and faithfully giving of yourselves to serve the church. Thank you for how you love and care for "your girls." As I sit here trying to sort through my thoughts as to what I want to blog about, the only thing that keeps coming to the forefront of my mind is how aware I am of God's faithfulness and love towards me in the past few months.

My life, in the past six months, has been full of changes.

Starting with a photography internship in Nashville, starting my own business, indefinitely stopping college, to possibly starting cosmetology school. It's been one crazy season!

But I love it.

All of these circumstances have forced me to be completely and utterly dependent on the Father.

What an amazing place to be!

God has lead me on quite a different path then the rest of my friends and family.

I used to think, " What's wrong with me? Why am I so different? Am I just weird?"

But then I heard that Voice -

"Because I made you that way. Because I want you to depend on me in this way.Because I want you to know and love me more through my plans for you."

I have been SO truly blessed during this season.

God has taken care of specific needs and desires during this time.

One of them being a new computer from my VERY generous family.

I am learning many things about the Lord and myself, during this season, that, if I had gone to college, I probably would not have learned until much later. For that I am most grateful:)

Now, can you do me a favor?

I have an important decision about whether or not to attend cosmetology school, come this January, and I would love prayer for clarity about what the Lord's will would be.

Soooooo, I know this is a couple months late BUUUUUUUT let's do it anyway, eh?

Awhile back, my sis Amy, my mom, my aunt and uncle and I went to Gettysburg for the day.

It was absolutely gorgeous.

The cloudy skies in contrast to the brilliant colors of fall was stunning.

We saw so many memorials!

It is Gettysburg, after all :p

Anyways, I love history.

It was my favorite subject in High School.

I love learning about things that people did in past centuries.

I love learning about what they learned then.

I love learning about the different styles(hey, I'm a girl ain't I?)

I love learning about different customs they had and comparing them to how they are now. . .

I like to learn about what was important to them. . . how they lived their lives. . .

It all amazes me. . . intrigues me. . .it's astonishing how God made history so perfectly. Not surprising but amazing non the less:)

I have known the Craynons for. . . .forever. So, it was a very fun and laid back photo shoot(which , as you all know, is my kinda shoot).

It was a very special shoot for me as well.

To have the opportunity to photograph one of my favorite families was definitely a cherished moment for me.

The Ladies:)

Were able to shoot at a location I have been wanting to shoot at for awhile now. The location is right down the road from University of Maryland, which presented some funny moments. Definitely had tons of students walk by and give that look of skepticism like "what are they doing?"

It's all good.

I'm pretty used to it.

And we even got these next shots.... :)

Colleen and I have been friends pretty much our whole lives :-D, so shooting her was completely natural. Also, take a look at those eyes. . . see what I mean?

You also might recognize her from past shoots I've done:)

What can I say? I LOVED this wall.

And I'm sure only photographers know what i mean;)

When I'm with friends, I constantly get teased for how I can randomly stop places and say things like "ohhh!look at that road!!" or " i love that dumpster!". . . . well, you get the picture.

Megan is seriously one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. No matter if you had just met her or had known her your entire life, she takes a genuine interest in you. And did I mention she is gorgeous?? I didn't?

Well, guess what! She is!

A Day In The Life Of Megan. . . .

My friends and I had a blast in Annapolis Harbor, one afternoon after I had visited them at school that day. It was perfect. The rain completely made my day. I had been wanting to walk around the harbor area in the rain for quite awhile. The rain just made for some . . . . interesting photos:) Enjoy these snapshots!

The O'Hara family won the free shoot I gave away awhile back and boy,

were they fun to photograph. They were absolute troopers for the entire shoot. Despite Johanna being 8 months pregnant and Steven having a scratched eye( thanks to Rebekah:-)), they did amazing in front of the camera!

We had a great time walking around the old Greenbelt theater.
It had many different locations to choose from. The possibilities were endless:) This is a good thing, you see. :-)

This next little cutie is Rebekah. She is one of the most adorable toddlers. I had THE best time trying to truly capture this little gals personality. Amazing how someone so small, can fill you with so much inspiration. . . .

Rebekah reminds me of a porcelain doll. Fair skin, blond hair, blue eyes and all.Oh, and this door made me very happy.

Taracena Family ~ Family Portraits

The Taracena family is full of love. It's precious to watch.

The way Marlon and Evy speak to each other with gentle words and their loving touches, fills me with an anticipation and joy for when I (hopefully) get married someday. . .

Marlon and Evy's love for their two sons, Marcus and Jaiden, is all to evident in how they care for them. . . how they hold them. . . and how they speak to them ( in multiple languages, I might add).

This little guy is Jaiden and I have to warn you, if you take a look at those eyes, you WILL get distracted and drown in them. Just sayin'.

But first, Jaiden is the happiest baby.period.

He is constantly smiling and chuckling to himself.

He will smile at anything.

You could simply look at him and he will start to smile like your the greatest person on the earth.

Soderholm Family - Family Portraits

The Soderholm family was one of the most laid back and fun families I have ever shot before!

They actually wanted to have the session at this park that had I GIANT train!

It was truly amazing:)

We had so much fun playing inside the train but unfortunately;) we had to start taking photos:)

Oh, how cute this family is!!

So, so , so fun!

Don't the colors just scream, "Christmas is coming!!!!!"

I couldn't decide between the color and black and white. I love them both soo much!!

Scott and Krista love to laugh. One little person that makes them laugh the most is this little guy.Please meet Harry:)

Harry is one big ball of energy. . . . and adorableness. . . and cuteness. . . and is one little chatterbox (even though we can't seem to understand all his gibberish:))

I am very pleased to welcome the new addition to the Soderholm family - Audry!!

This little gal was a trooper through the entire shoot. Even though it got colder by the minute, she just gazed out at the world, while being very content with her mama:)

I could pretty much shoot newborns 24/7. Mmmhhmm.

Allison ~ Portraits

(Just to warn you, this post may be rather long due to the following "occurrences")

I had the very special opportunity of photographing one of my friends, Allison, whom I have known for as long as I can remember:)

I actually know Allison through my church and now we are both in the young adults ministry :)

Anyway, where shall I begin?

I'm thinking at the beginning, just because I think it's a very good place to start ;-)

We scheduled the session for right after church. So, I rode with Ally and my awesomest bff (a.k.a. "the closet") back to my house to grab something to eat(the location was only a couple minutes away) but to my annoyance, I realized I forgot my key. . .

You know the one that unlocks the door. . .

That lets you into the house. . .

Yeah, definitely didn't have it with me because I didn't drive to church that day.

. . . Way to think ahead Megan. . .

and did I mention that all 7 other family members were gone?

Like seriously, what are the odds??

Luckily, the VERY kind Dempsey family let us crash their house , even though they weren't even at home!

Once we were done, we headed out to the location. While walking to the exact spot, I had turned around to hear what Liesel was saying but little did I know that what I thought was a patch of grass was actually 5 inches of mud. Once I realized what was going on, I squealed like a little girl and hopped right out.

I then assessed the damage to my NEW fur boots.

. . . . . . . Let's move on, shall we. . . . . . .

I get my camera out to start shooting and it doesn't turn on.

I do it again.

I check the battery.

I turn it on and off ten more times, just to make sure I'm not losing my mind.

Nope. Nada.

I call my tech savvy uncle for help and do what he says.

Still doesn't work.

So we head back to my house to switch cameras and luckily someone was home this time:)

:Take Two: (it's more like take five but who's counting;))

This is the good part of the story.

We ACTUALLY start taking the photos!!

No interruptions.

Beautiful subject.

Perfect weather.

It went beautifully :-)

I had the opportunity to second shoot my first wedding a couple weeks ago and man, was it UUUHHHMAAAzing. The one and only Lydia Jane asked if I wanted to come long to second shoot Greg and Mary's Wedding!!

I was so excited for this opportunity.

Just ask my family.

Days before it was time to head to Capitol Hill Baptist , I was checking batteries, memory cards, lenses. . . etc, etc. I had that nervous, anticipated, excited feeling in my stomach.

The Annapolis harbor area is one of my favorite places to go and hang out, enjoy the views, and explore.

One of my friends, Anthony, now attends the college in downtown Annapolis so we have many more opportunities to go down there:)

While some of my friends and I were there visiting him recently, we walked ALL over and took a few fun and random photos.

We really did walk all over the place . . . up this street, down that one, through this alley. It was so much fun tho:)

Smith Mountain Lake

A couple weekends ago I had the opportunity to go with my friends , the Craynon family, to their lake house in VA. The last time I had been there, I was about seven(i think), so to be able to go back and revisit some old memories was amazing:) Even tho Colleen(one of my awesome besties) and I were only there for a day and a half, we stuffed the time full with all sorts of things like. . . .

baking a four layered cake(well, Colleen did that one:)). . .

water tubing(always hilarious, especially when you get to hear two boys scream like girls:))

swimming / jumping off the dock. . .

playing card games. . .

and other games that I'm STILL not sure I understand. . .

star gazing on the dock and seeing my first shooting stars:)

discovering I LOVE Owl City. . .

almost getting hit by an airplane(it was only one of those small ones:))

doing mini photo shoots:)

and apparently I "pushed" Colleen down the steps towards the dock but in actuality she fell as I was holding her arm because I couldn't see anything because it was soo dark, anyway. . . :)

and a boat ride on a gorgeous sunny morning:)

This was taken on the airport strip when Colleen and I lost our sanity and when we were almost hit be the plane(but not really). . .

You wanna hear the story??

OK, it's rather short tho. . .

We were just lounging on one edge of the landing strip(the circle, where the planes turn around)when we heard a rumbling and then an airplane came out of nowhere right over the tree line.

"Oh, cool. An airplane. . . . . . . . . . . . . . wait. . . . . . . AN AIRPLANE!"

Before the airplane came, we had been munching on candy and "accidentally" spilled a bunch on the ground. So when we saw the airplane the other thought we both had was "save the candy!"

It was one of those you-had-to-be-there things. . .

This was one scary looking bird.

One of the mornings we woke up to find this creepy thing on top of the boat house.

This was on our last boat ride out.

It was an amazingly gorgeous morning:)

Family Portraits - Herman, Esther and Lucas

This next family was seriously one of the most fun and relaxed families I've photographed.

Right from the beginning, I told them to just completely ignore me and ignore me they did!

It was great!

It was so fun to watch and capture the moments of a family that loves to be with each other.

And boy, was Lucas the cutest little guy ever.

One of the best things about him is his little fro. It's so cute!

Your Mercies Are New Every Morning

I woke up this morning with a million thoughts whirling around in my brain of all the things I want to accomplish today. . .

the e-mails I need to send

the cleaning that should be done

the laundry that HAS to be done

the blogging that should be done

the errands that should be done
future plans that I need to look into. . . .all of these things were with the focus of myself.

But then the Lord stopped me.

He reminded me of what life is truly about.

Life isn't about all the things I "need" to get done. . .

It's about whether I'm doing what He wants me to get done.

Am I accomplishing these things with a mindset that brings God the glory or myself?

It's about serving my Savior and others first, before myself. . .

Life is about sharing the Gospel with the same grace that He gave me when He chose to save me.

Life is about, from and for Him.

Oh, what a great God I serve!

I am filled with a renewed gratefulness for the undeserved love and grace that he pours onto me everyday.

I would urge you to take a few minutes of your day to just meditate on the Lord. Think of the love and grace that He has shown you. Think of his faithfulness to you in all things past. And know that "He will never leave us, nor forsake us."

Family Portraits - The Gardner Family

Shamane and Dwayne Gardner wanted to have family photos taken where Dwayne grew up and also at the church where Dwayne and Shamane got married. The community is called Deanwood which is just inside D.C. and boy was it precious. The homes were built in the early 19oo's, which added to the antique feel to the shoot.

This is one of my favorite photos from the bunch:) I always think it's really neat to see three generations all together:)

Nashville Internship

Back in June, I had the amazing opportunity to attend a photography internship in Nashville, TN hosted by THE Sarah Barlow.

(And I'm FINALLY getting the photos up.)

Anyway, me and four other special ladies headed to Nashville with so much excitement, anticipation and a little nervousness;) After months of waiting for this opportunity, we were finally there. . and you wouldn't believe the place where we stayed, it was insane. . .
Below is one of the many views of the ICON.

The lounge area where we had many conversations about life and photography.

The next photo makes me smile. When miss Jazz(Sarah's good friend) came over one day to hang out with us, a spontaneous photo shoot just broke out. Everyone grabbed their cameras and clicked away:)

One night we went out to have some fun(to take a break from all the "business"stuff) and Sarah took us to see a few bands live! It was seriously fun. We got to see Thousand Foot Krutch. . .

. . . Satellites and Sirens (of whom I've never heard of but were aMAZing). . .

. . . and one of Sarah's friends(who is also very talented) Nathan Lee!

We also went to this really cute little town to practice with our camera settings. The town had these amazingly awesome antique looking stores. . . and here's a random photo of me in one of those antique looking stores:)

One of the major highlights of the trip was getting to do a "We Did" shoot. It's basically the same as an engagement shoot except they are already married:) Andy and Rebekah were so fun to photograph. They would do anything and everything to get you what you wanted for the photograph. . .

*Sigh* I miss Nashville. . .

Birthday Weekend

Wow. This only took about a month to post. Sheesh!

And guess what? I STILL have to blog my trip to Nashville! Good grief, Megan. Get with it girl.

Anyway, my sister-in-law, Kelley, had planned a birthday surprise for my sister Kristen and the plan was to go visit good friends of ours, the Welch family, in West Chester, PA for a weekend. . .

Which was a sooo much fun!

We talked a lot.

And we laughed a lot. Like A LOT. A lot.

While we were there, we went to Longwood Gardens which was absolutely amazing.

I completely understand why couples get married there now. . . maybe someday I will too:-)

There were a million flowers, pathways, fields and the biggest tree house ever(which unfortunately, I don't have a photo of:-( )

Kristen - "I'm hot."

Kelley - "Why are you taking a picture of me and why is my hair attacking my nose??"

Noah - " If I can't see you, you can't see me."

I love flowers. Yes, me. I do. I love them.

I'm one of those girls who thinks that a guy giving flowers to his girl is one of the sweetest things ever. (sorry for the random fact - just thought you were dying to know that about me;))

Buddy, my cousin, recently got married to a wonderful woman, Jen, of whom we are thrilled to have in our family:)

The wedding reception was exquisite. From the elegant tables and chandeliers, to the dim, warm lighting and Micheal Buble in the background, made the atmosphere perfect for celebrating the occasion:)

My very good friend Liesel and I have known each other from birth. . . quite literally, seeing as how we are only two weeks apart.

Liesel and I have gone through many years of
giggling together...

Liesel is a constant, faithful friend who pursues the Lord and strives to give God the glory.

Family Portraits - The Murphy Family

While my family and I were on vacation in the outer banks this summer, I had the opportunity to take a few family photos of my brother and his family.

Ha!What a time we had!

The kids (and the adults) did amazing even though it rained periodically throughout the shoot.

. . . and can I just say that laying on the sand when it's wet and raining is not so much fun. . .yeah, not so much. . . anyway, moving on. . . .

I had never photographed little kids before so this was a challenge in itself (even though they were my niece and nephew:)). But eventually we got a couple good family ones!

Introducing my first photo post with my newest camera with my awesomely beautiful sister Kristen!!!

While my sisters and I were in Miami, FL awhile back, I had the opportunity of taking my sisters as well as, a couple of my friends photos during our stay. . .

and let me just say that these girls are amazing beauties. Which I'll also be posting soon.

But first up is my sister Kristen:)Hmmm, what to say about Kristen.....this girl isn't like any other. She is one of the most joyful people I know.

No matter what the situation, she continues to glorify God by resting in Him. . . . . and as a result, blesses everyone else with her joy.

And did I mention she has killer eyes???. . . .

and along with that heart full of joy comes a very goofy personality :)

Kris, thanks for being a part of our family and being my favorite sister;)Love you.

Yes. I know it's been over a month since the last time i posted something. . .

and even longer since i've posted any pictures:/. . .I am truly and terribly sorry,

apparently I'm a failure at blogging. . .

but wait!

Their is hope! The photos that you all have been waiting for are coming!

Florida Fun

So today we(me,my sisters and some friends) are all heading down to Miami, Fl for a week.
Hmmmm, yes...I am excited...
I'm excited to just 'camp out' on the beach for a week.
I'm excited to relax with friends.
I'm excited for all the adventures that I know will come:)
and can you guess what else I'm excited for?. . . . . .PICTURES!
I know, I know. I keep promising you photos. But I promise that the pictures WILL come. Just think of it this way, as soon as I am able to upload photos, you'll get something new like everyday for a month!

Well, just really late on posting:/
I apologize that it's taken me this long to even post anything. Life has just been full of changes. Challenging changes. Hard changes. Exciting changes:)But all of them have been good none the less:)
God has just been soo good and faithful to guide and give me strength and comfort in this time of decision making. It has been a whirlwind these past few months in trying to decide what God would have me do in this next chapter of my life.

It wasn't until this past year that I had been interested in photography. I had started off just playing around a little bit with the family's "little" digital camera for a few months and as time went by, this "past time" turned into something that i knew i would like to get more involved in. And then Christmas rolled around and my VEry generous aunt and uncle decided to bless me with an exceptionally better camera than the one i had been using. This is definately where it all started for me.

(:excuse the interuption for a quick thank you: - kathy and alan - thank you for officially getting me started on this journey. Your love and generosity continue to blow me away. Your kindness is completely undeserved. Love you guys.)

-As the next couple of months went by, my love for taking pictures continued to grow until my parents -
(:again, please excuse the interruption: - mom and dad - thank you for your never ceasing love, guidance and support through this entire process. Thank you for the numerous sacrifices that you have made to make all of this happen. Thank you for faithfully praying for me to know what God's will is in my life. You are seriously THE best parents ever. God blessed me beyond what i deserve by giving you two to me to be my parents)
- suggested that I look into doing photography as a career. As time went on, i realized that this is something that i would really like to consider. During this time, their was a certain photographer and her blog, that i followed(and still do)that was holding internships throughout the summer to help those aspiring photographers to really help their business flourish.

Long story short. . . well, i think you know;)And this is where i am at today-just getting home from the internship that was held in Nashville and trying to plan my next move. Learning how to juggle everything one step at a time:) Taking it all in stride and trying to seek God first for what he wants me to do and how he wants me to carry it out. Prayers for this specifically would be grEAtly appreciated:)

I will be trying really hard to post on a regular basis! Many of you have been asking when i'm going to be updating the blog with some pictures. . .i hope it won't take too long but i am in a few transitions right now technology wise.

So be looking for photos from my trip to Nashville soon!This trip was truly amazing.It was stuffed full with amazing experiences like- documenting the Nashville Women's Rescue, having our bio photos taken, doing a "we did" shoot(this is basically just a shoot after the wedding saying "we did it!", in case you couldn't figure that out;)), and having the opportunity to serve the homeless in downtown Nashville(unfortunately,i don't have any photos of this but hopefully i'll get to post what we were able to do), and many more funny and hilarious "happenings". . . hmm, yes. . . that went on while i, and the four other amazingly , cool interns were there!

I know this post didn't have any photos on it but i believe that God put on my heart to share with everyone how i got here and who is really taking me through this next season of life - who is leading me,loving me, guiding me, rooting for me, who only wants what is best for me. The one and only person that should be the center of it all-my Lord and Savior.
